First of all, thank you for checking out US Z Scale! I hope I can meet all your Z Scale needs as we explore this fun hobby together! I've been a model train guy since a very young age and after a long hiatus, I got back into the hobby in 2021 and started expanding my horizons from the HO Scale days of my roots. I started looking into N Scale and then Z Scale and I got completely hooked on American Z Line and everything they have to offer. I was able to purchase US Z Scale on March 17th, 2025 and I've enjoyed being your AZL dealer ever since.
In this section of the website you will find information and updates about what's going on with USZ & AZL. I want to offer the best service I can for my customers in any way I can. Who you're buying from?
Model railroading is something I grew up with and rediscovered in 2021. I've had family in the railroad industry all the way back to my great-grandfather who worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad back in the days of steam. When you buy from me you're not getting someone from some big department store who knows nothing about the products. You're getting personalized service from someone who is also very passionate about this hobby. I know how addicting these tiny trains are and how we just can't wait for them to arrive in the mail!
My wife and I reside just north of Pittsburgh with our 3 children and we are definitely a railroad family! We've never been beach people, but we are scenic train ride people when it comes to vacations! I have several layout projects throughout the house and a I'm currently working on a T-Trak Z Module layout with modules purchased from Klawndyke Modules. I shop locally for as much as I can from Esther's Hobby in Millvale PA.

Some say model railroading is a dying hobby, but I say it's alive and well! It's a bright future for model trains and especially Z Scale thanks to AZL!
